About Jewellery By Design
Established in 2006, Jewellery By Design is independently owned and specialises in creating exquisite designs and retailing quality unique jewellery.
Our brand stands for quality, affordable luxury, paramount customer service, and above all the very best in jewellery design and creation.
The newly opened JBD Diamond Centre store in Castletown, is dedicated to celebrating the beauty of diamonds. The store features diamond engagement rings, wedding bands, diamond earrings, pendants and diamond watches. Our range starts from just $500 for a diamond ring.
At JBD, our on-site jewellers work from the on-site workshop. The jewellers create custom-designed pieces for clients, do repairs and restore antique jewellery.
JBD has developed a loyal client base through providing this localised jewellery workshop. With jewellery making becoming such a niche trade, it is difficult to access jewellers in Townsville, and many of the larger retailers send jewellery to southern centres for repairs.
JBD’s philosophy is to develop the next generation of jewellers by offering rare apprenticeships and fostering a creative culture and team spirit.
